The Black Pearl is an East Indiaman/Galleon hybrid that was, in another life, a stunning white and gold and named the Wicked Wench, but after being burnt by Cutler Beckett and resurrected by Davy Jones, she was rechristened and fitted with black sails, as Jack Sparrow's "pearl of great price". She tops in at 165 feet from bow to aft, with 32 guns along both starboard and port, and another spare stashed away in her grand cabin. She's notorious in the Caribbean, both for Hector Barbossa's run as her captain under the Aztec Curse, and recent happenings against Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman. Currently the greatest contender for fastest ship in the world, and only known ship to have outrun the Flying Dutchman.
